COSMO Fertilizer Spreader, P500

The COSMO Model P 500 fertilizer spreader is constructed with a lateral exit vane distribution system to ensure better spreading of seeds or fertilizer. The opening system with split levers offers the possibility to scatter fully to the right or to the left side. This manual adjustment and the speed of travel allow for granular material to be spread 39 to 46 feet and crystalline material to be spread 20 to 23 feet.

The upper parts of the heavy duty gear box are constructed of stainless steel to resist corrosion and are internally lubricated in an oil bath for a longer life. The absorbed power at 540 RPM is 6 horsepower. The transmission ratio is 1:1.

Constructed of steel and epoxy coated to resist damage and corrosion, the hopper weighs 139 pounds empty and has a 1,027 pound capacity. Capacities may vary depending on product being used. This 3-point fertilizer spreader is constructed with a sturdy steel frame that is covered with a coating system of epoxy primer and polyurethane waterborne paint. This provides excellent protection against UV rays and weathering.

The COSMO spreader has a clevis hitch to allow you to pull or drag something behind the fertilizer spreader. The seed spreader is constructed with category 1, 3-point hitch.
